Under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), walnut processors must comply to stringent food safety and lot traceability standards. DeRuosi Nut’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) are only the starting points of our effort to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.


Our receiving, packaging and shipping processes have been designed to work seamlessly with our internal lot traceability system which enables us to trace walnuts from a grower’s field to our customer’s location.
