Job description
We are seeking seasonal General Laborers to join our production team during harvest. General Laborers perform a variety of tasks to support processing, packing, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with production, preparation, and storage of in-shell and shelled walnut products.
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
- Follow company safety guidelines along with food safety Practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the facility.
- Follow company safety guidelines and food safety (GMP) practices at all times.
- Support operators and forklift drivers with staging, bin handling, and moving product.
- Perform basic manual tasks such as stacking, lifting, and sorting as directed by supervisors.
- Regular attendance and punctuality required to keep production on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing, food processing, or agricultural work experience preferred.
- Prior machine operator experience helpful.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions in English (bilingual English/Spanish a plus).
- Good manual dexterity, vision, and mobility.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse environments.
